Design Concept
This white marble gazebo replaces traditional columns with hand-carved Caryatid figures — classical draped female forms that appear to support the entablature on their heads, in the tradition of ancient Greek and French formal garden architecture. Each figure stands on an individual marble pedestal, with the folds of drapery, hairstyle, and posture individually carved. The upper stone ring above the figures is decorated with floral and scroll relief work. Topping the structure is a domed wrought iron canopy finished in a deep bronze tone, with a scrolling leaf and vine pattern that filters light through the openwork. At the base, a marble balustrade with integrated bench seating wraps around the interior, framed by carved pedestal panels.
